  3. 3

    Clue Phase

Players take turns giving exactly one word as a clue. 30 seconds per turn. The Imposter has to bluff their way through.

  4. 4

    Discussion

60 seconds. Talk it out — who's acting sus? Whose clue felt off?

  5. 5

Each player votes who they think is the Imposter. Tally is shown live.

Winning Strategies

🕵️ Tips for Civilians

  • Be Specific, but Not Too Specific: Your clue should prove to other civilians that you know the word, without making it so obvious that the Imposter can guess it instantly.
  • Watch for Hesitation: The Imposter often takes longer to come up with a clue because they are trying to deduce the word from others.
  • Coordinate in Discussion: Use the 60-second discussion to cross-reference clues that felt slightly "off-theme."

👻 Tips for the Imposter

  • The Power of Vague Clues: Words like "Object," "Place," or "Living" are safe bets if you're early in the turn order.
  • Echo the Vibe: Pay attention to the category. If the deck is "Movies" and everyone is giving genre-related clues, try to fit that pattern.
  • The Final Guess: Even if you get caught, don't give up! Listen carefully to all clues throughout the round. If you guess the secret word at the end, you steal the victory.
